As of March 2025, Over 70% of Students Have Received Informal Job Offers, Prioritizing "Compensation and Benefits" When Deciding on a Company
Howtelevision, Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Yosuke Otonari), which operates the career platform "GaishiShukatsu.com" that champions "Unlock the full potential of all humanity and change the world" and pursues a user-first approach, conducted a survey on job-seeking attitudes as of March 2025, targeting GaishiShukatsu.com members scheduled to graduate in 2026 (382 valid responses). Approximately 60% of respondents were students from so-called top universities such as the University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, Waseda University, Keio University, Hitotsubashi University, and Tokyo Tech. Including all former imperial universities and GMARCH universities, this figure exceeds 80%. This survey revealed that, amidst the increasing early start of job hunting each year, the informal job offer rate for top-tier students graduating in 2026 was over 70% as of March 2025, a very high level.
