Gaishi Shukatsu Cafe to Open This Autumn in Front of the University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, and Osaka University

Howtelevision, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Yosuke Otonari), which operates "GaishiShukatsu.com," a job-hunting support platform for students aspiring to global careers, is scheduled to open "Gaishi Shukatsu Cafe," a space that students can use for free, starting Tuesday, October 1, 2019.

■ Background of the Cafe Space Opening

GaishiShukatsu.com's core concept is "contributing to user growth through 'encounters,' 'learning,' and 'practice'."
To date, to provide the three essential elements for user growth—'encounters,' 'learning,' and 'practice'—we have developed various services such as community services, job-hunting columns, job information provision, and "Gaishi Shukatsu Academia."
To more clearly convey the worldview that GaishiShukatsu.com aims for, we have decided to embark on the operation of "Gaishi Shukatsu Cafe," a physical space.
At Gaishi Shukatsu Cafe, university students can gather and mutually strive for improvement, deepen their learning by participating in various courses and events, and obtain job information from companies carefully selected by GaishiShukatsu.com.

■ What is "Gaishi Shukatsu Cafe"?

Gaishi Shukatsu Cafe is a space that anyone can use for free, which GaishiShukatsu.com plans to open at three locations: Todaimae, Kyodaimae, and Handaimae.
The Todaimae location will operate as an event space, while the Kyodaimae and Handaimae locations are planned to operate as co-working spaces.
All three locations are situated within a 5-minute walk from their respective university campuses, offering users free drinks, power outlets, and WiFi.
In addition to operating as a regular cafe, various events such as career seminars, long-term internship consultation sessions, and recruitment briefings are also planned (※).
Furthermore, a wide range of sponsor plans for companies are available. We offer numerous original plans linked with GaishiShukatsu.com.

■ Features

All three locations—Todaimae, Kyodaimae, and Handaimae—are conveniently located within a 5-minute walk from their respective university campuses.

In addition to job-hunting students, anyone from first-year students to graduate students can use the facilities, and we also plan to open them to clubs and various student organizations.

As the cafes are linked with GaishiShukatsu.com, sponsor companies can expect high customer attraction and appeal.

■ Future Policy

In the long term, we aim to make these physical spaces embody our company's vision of "Unlock the full potential of all humanity and change the world," by hosting a diverse range of events not limited to career-related topics.

■ GaishiShukatsu.com https://gaishishukatsu.com/

Launched in 2010, this is a job-hunting website for students aiming for foreign-affiliated companies and top-tier Japanese companies. It is used by many top university students both domestically and internationally, with 80% of job-hunting students at the University of Tokyo, Keio University, and Hitotsubashi University registered as members.
By operating as a recruiting platform that provides a wide variety of content useful for preparing for selection processes at top companies—including carefully selected company information, selection process information, selection experience reports, a community for student interaction, a job-hunting consultation room, and unique job-hunting columns—we support both students who aspire to global careers and companies working to transform new graduate recruitment.
